Okay so I haven't wrote in here since I was 15 weeks pregnant, Which is quite a while ago now lol.

I had my baby, she was due on 20th February 2009, All the doctors,midwives and consultants I saw actually had bets on her being up to 3 weeks early... She certainly proved them wrong!! lol she actually decided to arrive on the 4th March 2009 (almost a fortnight late...) I was booked in for induction on the 6th of March, But ended up getting (woken up by) my first contractions at 6:30am on the 3rd March...it wasn't pleasant >.>. I went to the hospital at about 9am since the contractions didn't lessen. They sent me home saying they were full. I went home tried to sleep, when your in that much pain it's damn near impossible.

I attempted to get a bath after taking some paracetamol (Isn't it amazing how the midwives say oh take paracetamol and a warm bath...how the FUCK do they expect that to work?? paracetamol doesn't cure a damn headache never mind labour pains...) Anyhoo the bath was too cold so I got out. Sat in the chair and read for hours on end, And by about 11pm I had been on the phone to them several times all with the same thing ''Take paracetamol and a hot bath, you don't need to come in yet because if you really were that far into labour then you wouldn't be able to talk calmly you would be in too much pain...''

By midnight I had defrosted most of the food in the freezer in an attempt to relieve the paid radiating in my abdomen, it didn't work =]

I called the hospital again at 1am as my contractions were constant, coming every 30 seconds or so and lasting about a minute....contractions during contractions don't feel good. and they told me to go in.

Upon arriving, I was examined (goodbye dignity...) she was shocked at me being 7 and a half dilated. said I should have been in a couple of hours ago...I did try to tell them >.>

I got an epidural which didn't work so they topped it up 4 times, didn't work so they gave me a spinal block and a cocktail of other drugs, then finally the pain went. After a couple of hours of being bored, I was told you could see the head and they told me to put my hand there and feel, it felt gross lol all slimy O_o

About an hour later I was told to push, after about 4 pushes she was out =] She was born on Wednesday 4th March 2009 at 7:48am and she weighed 7lbs.
I didn't come off too badly for a first time mum. I only had a second degree tear. and a few lacerations. The stitches werent too bad, I must say I am alot tighter down there now than before I even got pregnant lol great work there NHS XD

She's now 7months old. Though she does have health issues, She has several small holes in her heart, Reflux (which is a digestive problem...she often throws up feeds, but it isnt as severe as alot of other babies get) and she's profoundly deaf. She's a great baby though and cute as can be ^_^. She has so much hair lmao
